Event Recap: Supersonic Supernova Burger Challenge Ignites South Anne Street!

On Saturday, July 12th, Eddie Rocket’s on South Anne Street transformed into a hub of high-energy excitement for our Supersonic Supernova Hamburger Competition—and what a sizzling success it was!

This free public event drew crowds of burger lovers, thrill-seekers, and families for an unforgettable day of fun, food, and fierce competition. Here’s what went down:

Highlights from the Day:

  • Guests lined up to spin our “Spin to Win” wheel and scored some amazing Eddie Rocket’s prizes

  • Fans posed with Eddie’s vintage Buick, parked out front for that perfect retro photo op

  • The main event: The Supersonic Showdown burger-eating challenge!

Four brave contenders took the stage with one mission: devour our Supersonic Supernova Hamburger—a massive, limited-edition version of our Supersized Supernova—in 10 minutes or less. The reward? A sizzling €3,000 prize.

And the Winner Is...

Rory Finlay stole the show, crushing the challenge in under three minutes and taking home the top prize. Talk about supersonic speed
